We have seen the crash of several companies due to this crisis. Most companies’ stock prices plummeted in exception to few such as Amazon, Netflix, medical companies and online video applications. One of the biggest crashes would be in the airplane industry due to flights being drastically reduced.

The best way to make a return in an investment is to invest when the price is low and when the market finally picks up, you could possibly double your investment! It is a risky investment, but to make large profit, you have to be willing to take the risk.

The company that i think will survive this crash and will be the best investment choice is :

United Airlines

On January 17th 2020, united airlines was at a value of $89.70 per share and hit $29.28 on the 19th of march 2020. This is about a 67% loss in value! If you had decided to invest $1000 in this stock, you will get $1670 in return! The price has already picked up since then and it is expected to have a steady increase. We do see a similar pattern after the 2008 crash and how they steadily increased their value although they went public 2 years prior to that crisis.

One of the reasons why i believe this airline will come back up compared to other companies such as American Airlines, is due to the fact that these other companies finished last year with more debt and less liquid cash. This crisis could last a long time, and it is now up to who can use the assets they currently have to last longer. Although Trump decided to bailout the airline industry, not everyone is going to benefit from this. Most of the funds are probably going to go to the airlines that are stronger while weaker companies would still die regardless of the funds.

On the other hand, I pushed Boeing at the back on my mind due to few crises they were already dealing with. Since the crashes of Boeing 737 Max, Boeing has been going through financial problems. With all that they have going including this current crisis, they might take time to come back up. I do believe they will prevail, however, it might be a rough ride.
